Piper - Baby Photography

Piper's session was held a few days shy of her 1st birthday, in the beautiful autumn setting of Hyde Park. The weather was unseasonably warm and we spent some time playing on the grass, walking by The Serpentine and climbing on whatever Piper fancied! Here are a few favourites from her session.

Jessica - 38 Weeks Pregnant | Maternity Session

Jessica and her husband Ben are not originally from the UK, and plan to move to Canada in the near future, so they opted to have their maternity session focus as much on the area they went through their pregnancy as the bump himself. We took a few pictures indoors but most of the session was spent outside in their local part of South West London, in and around Bishops Park and battling the early autumn wind along the Thames as we walked towards Putney Bridge. Here are a few of my favourites from their session!

Thiago & Gabriella | Newborn, Child & Family Photography

I visited this next family when baby Gabriella was around 4 weeks old. 2 year old big brother Thiago spent some time playing and watering the plants outside with his father (also watering everything else in the process!), and after a while we got some shots of Gabriella along with some of the whole family. Isabelle - 6 Days Old | Newborn Photography

Baby Isabelle's session took place at 6 days old; right in that perfect three day period I always aim to book within for newborn shoots. She made my job simple, easy to pose and pulling very cute faces as she slept, and so content wherever she was while awake. Mummy and Nanny joined in for a few shots at the end too.. here are a few favourites.

Emily & Baby Sophia | Child & Newborn Photography

I photographed Sophia when she was 9 days old, along with her big sister Emily, at their home in North London. Emily was a bubbly, chatty toddler who wouldn't stay still very much, and had to be tricked into looking anywhere near the camera! Little Sophia was very chilled out and aside from stopping for feedings, was a dream to grab both sleepy and wide awake shots. Big sis even slowed down long enough to lie with the baby for a few snaps! Here are a few of my picks from their session.

Harry - 10 Days Old | Newborn Photography

Baby Harry was a lovely settled baby, so although he didn't attempt to sleep even once during his session he was still lovely to work with. I got lots of cute little expressions and different positions, as well as the hands, feet and little details. Here are a few from his newborn shoot.

Aaran & Baby Brother | Newborn, Child & Family Photography

I first met Aaran's family back in 2009, when they had a maternity session, and met him when he arrived at his newborn session. Now he's nearly two years old, and a big brother himself! I came to take pictures of the family when as-yet unnamed baby brother was just under a week old, and to me he looked the spitting image of Aaran as a baby. Here are a few favourites from the session.

Caspar - 10 Days Old | Newborn Photography

Caspar was a little more than a week old at the time of his session, which is sometimes around the time that newborns are more alert and difficult - not this little boy though! He fed, fell into a milk coma and let me get on with it! With chubby cheeks and sweet squishy lips, I had plenty of detail shots to choose from, as well as him conked out on chairs and in a basket.. here are a few of my favourites from his shoot!
